This was a fantastic stay for our family! The beautiful views were stunning, very clean and great food! The best part was when we arrived they gave our two kiddos a “treasure hunt” to complete. I would highly recommend doing this even if you don’t have kids! It led you through there property and helped navigate the coast with interesting questions along the way. So fun!

Timber Cove Resort is a truly special place—just make sure you set your expectations. This isn’t a luxury diamond hotel; it’s a small, cozy seaside retreat designed for those looking to unplug and enjoy the rugged beauty of the California coast. Once you lean into that, the experience is amazing. The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the rooms feel like a cozy designer escape, many with panoramic ocean views. The bathroom products smell incredible, adding a little extra charm. Onsite amenities like Tesla charging, the vinyl library, board games, and fire pits create a relaxed, welcoming vibe. The location is also great for exploring nearby coastal attractions. Service can be a bit hit-or-miss, but if you’re here to connect with nature and enjoy the scenery—not to be pampered—it’s the perfect getaway. Already thinking about when I’ll be coming back for my next escape from reality.

Beautiful property and the service is exceptional. Great trails and views surrounding the property. The on-site restaurant is convenient and delicious. On our most recent trip we noticed our room (56) was in need of attention and certainly wasn’t the best room we’ve stayed in while at the property.
