I have spent few days here enjoying Mamooth Lakes and the surrounding area! The Village Lodge is definitely one of the nicest place to stay in this area, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The gated garage is a plus and the area is just gorgeous. The heated pool with jacuzzi was a treat and we have enjoyed our staying here a lot.

for what you pay, per night, you expect perfection....! in our case, we tried to check in early & they were not able to accommodate. took our phone # & never did call or text us back. went back at 5pm & room was ready. there were no towels in the bathroom, a used kleenex on the chair & in the morning they ran out of coffee & cream in the 2-caraffs, which we were told to wait 15min for a new pot. all in all place is fantastic! some of the staff need to step up their game.

We came for a summer visit with friends. The lodge is beautiful and well positioned with shopping and dining within walking distance. The grounds are clean and appealing. We had a wonderful time staying in a two bedroom, 2 bath condo. Our condo/room was not fancy but also not bad. A little outdated but not excessively old. I believe they are all independently owned so each is a little different in furnishings and style. Here are pros and cons of this facility: PROS: -location: centrally located, easy to access lots of offerings -beautiful grounds -full kitchen -spacious enough -well appointed rooms, kitchen, and bathrooms CONS: -staff were generally unhelpful (examples include asking for additional towels several times before receiving them, notifying them the hot tub was only 97 degrees and being told others had complained but they hadn’t looked into it yet) -only one parking pass per rental, despite renting a two bedroom condo -no central A/C (which would be tough during a hot visit- summers vary in temps here) -fireplaces are not available in the summer (despite it being 35 degrees with snow flurries when we were there) -our bed was not super comfortable -workout room is kind of sad to be in Overall, I’m not sure if I would come back or not. The price is good and I think snow season may be a better experience due to the gondola right outside and the ski up opportunity.
