A wonderful quiet, private retreat with beautiful rural/ garden views. Great hosts with thoughtful touches like fresh flowers from the garden, but we were given space to do our own thing. The cottage is warm and comfortable, I never knew a heated bathroom floor could be so nice! The bed was amazingly comfortable, this is from a person with chronic back problems. The location is an easy drive from many lovely walks and attractions. Lots of birdlife in the garden was a plus in the mornings. Thanks very much, we will come again!
We've stayed at Tindoona Cottages twice - when we were looking at a house to buy in the next village and then when waiting to move in once we'd bought it. The cottages are absolutely beautiful and contain everything you could possibly want or need. Excellent kitchen, complimentary bottle of wine, snacks and drinks in the fridge, a bowl of home-grown produce on the bench and flowers from the garden everywhere. All the linen is top quality, the bed super-comfy, a wonderful big bathroom with everything, even under-floor heating, and bathrobes. There was a fire with heaps of wood, books, magazines, games, movies. Outside there's a cute little deck with a view into the bushland and the paddocks beyond. You can barely see the other cottages so it's like you're there on your own. All you can hear at night is millions of frogs in the little dam. The gardens have amazing shrubs and flowers which, rather than being formal, spill into the bush and just create a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Mitch and Bull are so unobtrusive. If you don't want to see them, you probably won't. On the other hand, if you need them for anything, they're there and really friendly and funny. We can't recommend this place enough. It feels like absolute luxury without the pomp and stuffiness. I almost wish we hadn't bought our house so we can keep staying there!
What a beautiful setting! The garden is gorgeous, the fresh-from-the-garden produce and extra flourishes were very much appreciated. Thank you for a wonderful stay in your spacious and well appointed Cottage 3. Such peace and tranquility during our time here. Highly recommended.
