Tinidee Hotel @ Ranong

Great facilities and attentive staff. The gym is good with free classes. Access to the hot spring source right by the pool. We got a room with a mountain view, which was very nice. The whole facility needs a bit of a refurbishment but generally everything is well kept and very clean.

We stayed here for one night on our road trip. The hotel room was spacious, clean had tea and coffee facilities. As in most hotels in Thailand only one pillow each, asked staff for some more and they arrived promptly, staff very helpful and efficient. Enjoyed the food buffet in the evening good choice of food. The pool area looked nice and clean although we never used. The hotel also has varying temperatures hot spas by the pool, which proved very popular early evening. Never had the breakfast as we had to get back on the road. A good passing through hotel. Ask for a quiet room as the hotel has a very noisy night club next door, luckily we were tired and slept through.

It’s a decent resort but showing its age. Okay for the price but far from great. No bedside plug to charge your phone, just one kind hidden at the bottom of the desk/dresser mirror or floor level. Many repaints. The breakfast is way overpriced for very average food: 220 baht (about $7 USD) would get you 2 meals in a nice restaurant, more if you’re eating in one of the local places. If it had more variety it might be worth it. Attentive cheerful helpful staff. Good pool and gym, on-site hot springs tubs, lots of parking and walking distance to a street full of local food make it worthwhile if you can get a discount deal.
