My parents, Barry & Margaret spent a very relaxing week in Kushu Cottage at Tintoela. Shawn did the meet and greet at the airport, escorted them to the cottage and did a thorough introduction to all of the amenities. The cottage was well appointed and very comfortable. They would certainly love to come back and spend time at Tintoela and explore more of the Island.

We were met by Shaun (the manager) at the airport and followed him back to the cottage so we didn’t have to try and find it ourselves. The cottage is absolutely beautiful with everything you need for your stay including kitchen facilities, a laundry and gear for the beach. Shaun was so helpful and anything we needed he sorted out ASAP. The grounds are well tended and we met the owners (and their gorgeous puppy) while they were working on the garden and they were so welcoming. We will definitely be going back.

We are just back from a week at Norfolk Island staying at Tintoela homestead. It was a first visit for us and we loved it! Our host Shaun picked us up at the airport and made us feel instantly welcome. We followed him in the rental car to the house. Wow, up on a hill overlooking the green and lush hills with a view to the ocean. Really good quality accomoodation equiped with everything we needed. The wild chicks were so sweet running around the garden. Remember, cows have right of way! Out of 101 things to do we did a few bush walks around Mount Pitt with great views across the island and ocean, the local market and produce with excellent avocados and so sweet bananas, visiting the Landing Place and Kingston with the prison ruins, doing a tour of Colleen McCullough's home. Cyclorama is a very impressive display depicting the history from Bounty leaving England, Pitcairn and the early life at Norfolk Island. Fishing was excellent but it is weather dependent, I was very lucky to be out on two beautiful offshore days. Catching lots of nice sweetlips and kingfish, fish for dinner almost every night.
