The rooms we stayed in was the superior dockside and it was huge! Really luxury but authentic and rustic decor with a modern bathroom. Dinner was excellent, absolutely delicious, I had the salmon and my partner had the steak. Decent selection of 0% wines. Breakfast was excellent for a buffet. Spa treatments (facial and massage) were brilliant for myself and average for my partner. Spa other than that was small but nice. Location was great for our stay in Liverpool.
I didn’t stay at the hotel, but I visited the spa and had a really lovely experience. The spa itself is quite simple, but it has everything you need: clean, relaxing, and well-organised. We went for a spa day package that included a two-course meal, and everything was great. The food was delicious, we had the chicken and salmon, and both dishes were really tasty. The only small downside was that the set menu had only three options for starters and three for mains, so the choice was a bit limited. But honestly, the options they had were really good quality. Overall, a really enjoyable experience and definitely something I’d recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing spa break in Liverpool.
We stayed here for a party and it was absolutely fabulous. Great staff, good food, lovely breakfast. Huge rooms and I love the corridors !! My only negative comments would be that there was no body lotion in the room and having looked at a black mark on the window for 2 days which I thought was bird poo on the outside (the windows could do with a clean as they are quite dirty. I was looking out of the window just before we checked out and realised it was actually a piece of chewing gum stuck on the inside of the window. Why would someone even do that !! Forgot to mention to Reception when we checked out. I would love to go back and stay though as it was fabulous
