We arrived too late and missed the shuttle bus. After communicating via a public phone at the station, the hotel staff arranged for a small van to pick us up (at shuttle bus waiting spot). We are very grateful for their extra assistance. The room is spacious, the facilities are a bit old, but the view is beautiful. The bathhouse is in another building called 潮路亭, but there is a connecting path, so you don't have to walk outside on the road. Overall, the service is good. Next time, we might try staying at 潮路亭.

We really loved our stay here (group of 8). The hotel is located near the station but they'll provide a shuttle service every 30 minutes. It's located up a hill so not a great idea to climb. There are 3 wings for the hotel - Ocean, harbor, and traditional Japanese wing (shioji tei) The onsen is in the last one, so if you stay in the other wings you will either have to walk (5mins) or take a shuttle bus down. The traditional Japanese wing is really nice and cosy, with marshmallow roasting every night and free coffee being served in the lobby. The onsen is acceptable, nothing too remarkable there. Food was excellent and very refined. There was an unfortunate incident where the hotel simply took away gluten-containing food items without any replacements, but this was solved on the second night. The views from the hotel are incredible.

the room smelled disgusting and the staff did nothing to help. There was mold growing in the toilets and the carpet itself was dusty and dirty. The breakfast was the worst food i’ve ever had in my life. I wish i had booked my stay at the Japanese hotel next to this instead of the international counterpart.
