We've stayed here before with less people and had the 2 bedroom suite in the ocean front building. It was great. This time we stayed in the 3 bedroom 3 bath tower 2 building across the Blvd. We liked it even better. The room, service, place was awesome. We even had a little mishap and it was taken care of appropriately..The staff was great. Ty guys. We will be back for sure.
The room was clean but outdated. It was a decent-sized two-bedroom unit. Unfortunately, the pools in our tower were filled with sand. There were four hot tubs, one of which was completely empty, and only one fully functional with a jacuzzi. The tower had a mildewy smell in the entryway. Upon checking in, we were informed that dinner and breakfast were included. However, when we had breakfast this morning, we were informed that we would be charged for it since we did not have breakfast tickets. The cost was $50 for three out of five of us to eat what would have been complimentary at a regular hotel. (The breakfast consisted of cereal, powdered-cooked eggs, frozen potatoes, and self-serve waffles.) The parking situation was very inconvenient as we were in tower one, we had to park on the 3rd floor or higher of the second tower parking garage and then walk across the street. So two elevator rides just to get to the room. The restaurant on the pier served fast food-type food for $100. I would choose a high reputable chain hotel over this one in the future.
I guess I was a tad disappointed. Felt more like a hotel room than condo. The staff were very friendly. When we first got there our refrigerator wasn’t cold at all. We contacted front desk; they sent someone up, but took awhile. They said nothing was wrong with it that it just needed sometime to “catch up” . The smell in the hallways were awful. Parking sucked. They’re two towers 1 and 2. I wasn’t aware of that until I got there. Tower 2 is not right on the beach like I read. Checking in and out was a breeze. We didn’t even use our tickets for breakfast that I paid for. The day before we went to get some dinner and they were not much on the menu at all to choose from. I don’t believe I will stay here again. I expected different. For the price I paid for 4 days, I will pay a little more for a actual condo ON THE BEACH!
