I stay in this hotel regularly due to my regularly Cairo work visits. Several times a year since 2022. I must say after checking out many different hotels around I find this place as very great for my stay. Rooms are big, bed comfortable, breakfast very nice and i like the outside area with lots of different possibles for activity. However the stuff is most important. They are so helpful, so polite and respectful. The manager of the fd hotel Mr. Ahmed S. is very professional. He helped to find the room for me even in moment where hotel was fully occupated. And i like service of conserge, especially Mr. Samir. Congratulations. Highly recomend.

The hotel facilities are fabulous (spacious rooms, wide hallways, pools, etc.) all very well equipped. The service is also fantastic, with a friendly team always ready to help with anything you need. The only downside of the hotel is the food. I can’t understand how a hotel of this category can have such a limited buffet in terms of variety and such low quality. I'm leaving this feedback in the hope that it will be read and addressed, because with good food, this hotel would be an ideal destination for a multi-day holiday in Cairo. Another area for improvement is the pool schedule. In the afternoon, it closes very early (7:30 PM), which is exactly when people return from excursions. In contrast, it opens very early in the morning when it's usually empty.

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, my experience was quite mixed. While the staff at the front desk were exceptionally friendly and helpful, offering a warm welcome and smooth check-in process, other aspects of the stay left much to be desired. One of the most concerning issues I faced was related to the hotel’s hygiene standards, particularly in the kitchen and the room. I developed a stomach upset shortly after consuming fruits provided by the hotel, which seemed not to be properly fresh or handled with the necessary care. This significantly impacted my stay and raised serious concerns about food safety practices at the property. Additionally, I noticed that the kitchen staff were not wearing gloves while handling food, which is a basic hygiene requirement, especially in hospitality settings. There also seemed to be a communication barrier with the kitchen crew, as they struggled to understand basic requests, which made the dining experience uncomfortable and frustrating. The room itself was not as clean as expected for the hotel’s category. While it wasn’t in a terrible state, certain hygiene details were overlooked, and the overall cleanliness didn’t meet professional standards. Despite these issues, the positive attitude of the front desk team was a redeeming factor. They were courteous, attentive, and genuinely tried to make my stay pleasant in the areas they could control. I appreciate their efforts, but unfortunately, the problems with food hygiene and room cleanliness made it difficult to fully enjoy my stay. I hope the management addresses these concerns promptly, as the hotel has potential but requires serious attention to its kitchen and housekeeping practices. I changed my room twice as well, and had to call room service to fix the pumping issues in both. What a waste of time honestly
