Topas Ecolodge

My husband and I stayed at Topas Ecolodge in April, and it was easily one of the most magical holidays we’ve ever had. Nestled high in the hills of Sapa, the lodge is surrounded by rolling rice terraces and misty peaks that look like something out of a dream. From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful, unhurried and deeply connected to nature. We stayed in one of the hilltop bungalows. Waking up each morning to panoramic views of the mountains and valley below was nothing short of breathtaking. The room was beautifully designed in a rustic, Scandinavian-meets-Vietnamese style, with natural materials, warm lighting and just the right amount of modern comfort. One of the highlights was the infinity pool, which looks out over the mountains. We spent hours just soaking it all in. There is something so calming about swimming in warm water while the clouds drift by overhead. The air was crisp and fresh, and every moment felt like a gentle escape from the world. The food was also excellent. The breakfast buffet had a lovely mix of Vietnamese and Western options. Dinner under the stars was always a treat. We especially loved the local dishes, which were fresh, flavourful and thoughtfully prepared. The staff were kind, attentive and quietly efficient. They made us feel welcome from the start and were always happy to help, whether it was arranging a hike, recommending a dish or simply sharing a bit about the area. We also went on a guided trek through the nearby villages. This was one of the most memorable parts of the trip. Our guide was knowledgeable and respectful, and it gave us a glimpse into local life that felt authentic and deeply moving. Topas Ecolodge is not just a place to stay. It is an experience. It encourages you to slow down, breathe deeply and reconnect with nature, yourself and the people you are with. I honestly did not want to leave. If you are looking for serenity, beauty and something truly special, this is it. We are already talking about when we can return.

Topas Ecolodge is hands down one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed. The views are just stunning, and the heated pool villas were amazing—relaxing and cozy. The service was also next level. Huge thanks to Anna for taking such great care of us. She was super kind, thoughtful, and always made sure we had everything we needed. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

**Postcard-Perfect Escape ** Breathtaking view from the well-maintained resort - walking amidst and waking up to lush greenery as far as the eye can see - misty valleys in the mornings and gorgeous green terrace fields during the day. Serenity and peacefulness is how I would describe my short stay there (wish I stayed longer instead of 1 night). The resort is impeccably maintained, and you can see from the little touches / details that they genuinely care for the environment while ensuring a great experience for their guests. Gorgeous views from the swimming pool and complimentary sundowner drinks at one of their restaurants was just lovely. Food quality at 360 was average (and i thought a bit pricey). Staff were friendly and accommodating.
