Love Torel Avantgarde & so enjoyed our stay here. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and an atmosphere of luxury and artistry. The hotel’s design is stunning—every detail thoughtfully curated, blending modern elegance with creative flair. Our room was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and offered breathtaking views of the city. The amenities were top-notch, and the attention to detail made our stay feel extra special. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, always attentive and welcoming. Breakfast was a highlight—delicious, fresh, and served with a view that made every morning feel magical. The location is perfect for exploring Porto, with easy access to the city’s main attractions while still offering a peaceful retreat. The staff is also incredible - the folks that work the front desk (I wish we had their names written down) but they truly went above and beyond to give us recommendations and help make our honeymoon such an unforgettable trip. If you’re looking for an incredible hotel in Porto that combines luxury, art, and exceptional service, Torel Avantgarde is the perfect choice. We can’t wait to one day return! We have already recommended Torel Avantgarde to friends & family who are planning on visiting Portugal later this year. Can’t say enough positive things about our stay here!

Loved our stay at this hotel. Only reason it’s not a 5 because location wasn’t as central. Most of our walks were about 20-30 mins to the main areas. However it’s easy to get a ride-share. Hotel was beautiful due to its uniqueness , decor , views , pool, and indoor spa pool. Staff was incredible, extremely friendly. Breakfast was included which is definitely worth it. Lots of variety of breakfast options and of good quality. The terrace where you can eat is also very nice with views down to the river and town. Room was clean and maintained but had its quirks. The balcony door latch appeared overused causing the door to get stuck. But like the hotel it had a really nice style and decor.

Stayed here last year and loved it. This time around it was not so good. Rooms are still good. Location good too. But service was underrated. A handful of staff members were fantastic. But overall The hotel seemed a bit understaffed. And many of the staff members seem poorly trained or not trained at all. Staff was still very friendly just the service was not up to the standard of the hotel or the price of the room. I’d suggest to hotel management to hirer more staff members and implement better training.
