Tornabuoni Palace

The Location itself is very good. (A star for that). Other than that, it is an AirBnB like experience without the charm of a real apartment OR the convenience of a real hotel. The room we stayed in needs a renovation and it is extremely loud every time any other guest enters the apartment area. I would not recommend staying there.

Advertised as open 24 hours. However, after arriving in Florence at 10:15pm, we got zero answers on the intercom. Even after being let into the building by someone staying elsewhere (which is more of an apartment complex than a hotel by the way) and knocking/buzzing, we got no response. People called on our behalf and they denied having our booking on record despite a clear receipt of payment in my emails, and they're avoiding responding to booking.com who are chasing a refund on my behalf. Avoid avoid avoid. Would give zero stars if that was allowed.

DO NOT BOOK OR STAY HERE!! This is not a hotel but a few rooms in an apartment block. Me and my wife booked this hotel for our trip to Florence. The hotel contacted us via Hotels.com and I replied with plenty of time to let them know our plane would be arriving late and we would not arrive until the early hours of the morning. When we arrived, the doors were locked and there was no way to get in. No phone numbers are manned out of hours if you hit trouble. After hours of searching we eventually found another hotel to stay at, at great expense at last minute. The hotel has refused to refund us for our night or contribute anything towards to additional costs and are no longer responding to my emails. If you are planning on going in the spring/summer, DO NOT BOOK HERE, the aircon is as effective as being blown on by an asthmatic hamster.
