A modern and well-maintained hotel with beautiful sea views. There were two pools available, one of which was saltwater and perfect for children who were required to wear swim hats. The hotel also offered a kids club and evening entertainment (in Italian), which our children enjoyed joining in with. Breakfast included a wide variety of options and the optional dinner buffet in the evening occasionally featuring traditional Italian dancing.

We stayed at Torre Cintola for 10 days in June. Overall, we had a nice time. The pools are lovely and we didn’t have any issues with getting any sunbeds, even if we came to the pool in the afternoon. Breakfast was OK for us. Dinner was 50/50. Rooms were nice, but quite noisy. And we encountered quite some ants in the room a couple of times. Location is fine but you definitely need a car in order to do some sightseeing. There are some things that could definitely be improved though. One thing is communication to non-Italian speaking guests. Because we checked in around 12:30am, and there was only a night guard present who hardly spoke English, we were not told a couple of important things. For example: you have to charge your room card with money in order to buy drinks/lunch/snacks at the hotel. Moreover, apparently you have the same reserved table in the restaurant for dinner. We didn’t know this (because we hadn’t been told) and got put on the spot for sitting at the wrong table by the restaurant manager. I also feel like the hotel is more oriented towards Italian guests. We had a couple of situations with employees (animation employees, restaurant employees, even some reception employees) who did not speak basic English or even English at all. TLDR; would recommend if you’re an Italian (speaking) family/couple. Otherwise, not really.

Disappointing from start to finish. I rarely write hotel reviews, but our experience at Torre Cintola Natural Sea Emotions was so underwhelming that I felt compelled to share it. From the moment we checked in, the stay was marked by poor communication and a lack of basic hospitality. We were not informed of several important things — for example, that swimming caps are required for the pool, or that you need to contact reception just to adjust the temperature of your room’s air conditioning. Upon entering our room, we noticed that the cot we had requested (and received confirmation for weeks in advance) was missing. When we asked about it, we were told it would cost €7 per night — a charge that had never been mentioned in any prior communication. Our bathroom sink was faulty and would not drain unless we manually removed the plug. Small but frustrating maintenance issues like this added to the overall dissatisfaction. More disappointing still was the attitude of some staff members. On more than one occasion we were met with rudeness and arrogance. At one point, we were even yelled at for sitting at a table — despite the fact a staff member had directed us there. Overall, I would not recommend Torre Cintola to anyone, particularly those who do not speak Italian, as the language barrier further complicates things and there seems to be little effort made to accommodate international guests. Sadly, this was a stay we were looking forward to and it fell far below expectations.
