We had an amazing stay here. The rooms and facilities are impeccable. The spa, pool and sauna/hammam have epic views and is truly luxury. The restaurant downstairs served lovely food including breakfast (we also had dinner here), enjoyed it thoroughly. Didn’t fully appreciate it at booking but the hotel owns half of the top half of the town, with sweeping Mountain View’s. Would definitely come back
Torre del nera is an amazing hotel situated in the small village of Scheggino in the Nera vally. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the view is an amazing green valley with a flowing river. This place is unique and off the beaten track even for Umbria (although it is about 20 minutes from Spoletto). I think the value for money here is great. and the staff is lovely and attentive. I just loved it and hope to come back soon.
We stayed here for two nights in September before our wedding. This hotel is a hidden gem within Umbria. The rooms are clean, spacious and the beds are comfortable. The spa was also a great experience! The two downsides are 1. Going back to the hotel room at night requires you to walk up a steep hill in the dark. 2. The restaurant food for dinner was just average. We enjoyed the restaurants at the bottom of the hill much more for lunch and dinner. Breakfast was great though!
