Torripa Group Trastevere

I booked my reservation through Chase Travel. I was sent a confirmation that stated my “hotel” was reserved with no other information other than a link to get directions. After a long day of driving from The Amalfi Coast we finally arrived at the address only to find out that the resort is an actually just a few rooms in a private apartment complex. The rooms we had were on the third floor without an elevator. I was very upset when we arrived because I was expecting a hotel With a reception desk and there were no signs to mark the location and I had no way of checking in. I finally called the number on the door bell where a cockroach was sitting and the owner who didn’t speak clearly told me that they had tried To contact me but didn’t have my contact information. Many roaches are right outside the door on the street making it a very unpleasant experience as you arrive. The AC unit is very noisy making clicking sounds making it hard to sleep.

Not quite a resort but it will do for a night or two in Rome

Very walkable location to stay. Definitely should never be called a resort. All rooms have inoperable AC units, there are no linens equipped in the space, and there is a strict noise violation policy. Beware if you go on the deck and talk above a whisper, a random woman will scream “silenceo” to wake up the entire neighborhood in your stead. My recommendation: Do not stay here unless you like empty feeling hostels.
