Food was amazing .. atmosphere beautiful chilled and welcoming . Serenaded in the garden by an opera singer while the sunset . Eating fresh English strawberries and cream ..the proprietor cooked the most delicious delectable meal ...I didn't want to leave...what a fabulous introduction to Hastings ...and the hotel itself is sweetly serenely adorable..I fell in love

Great value for money comfortable room(pillows need replacing)This is not a 5 star hotel but is a lovelyB&B. Needs attention to finer cleaning details and ensure all areas are working and dust free(missing light bulb). Nice breakfast good value good produce. Great service nice friendly staff. The web site needs updating as some information and photos are out of date and misleading (breakfast £8.50 really £11). This is a value for money B&B

Avoid this hotel! Staff physically entered my room at 4am and did not even speak until I woke and confronted them for being there. They woke my child and wife and we argued back and forth. It is still not clear why they entered my room at 4am but it was very creepy. Later they blamed me for not locking the door and never apologised or refunded me even though my family and I sat up all night worrying about this invasion of privacy. Not locking my door does not give staff permission to enter my room at 4am. It is unacceptable behaviour.
