Tower Junction Motor Lodge

Our party of 6 stayed for two nights . The owner, Prince was extremely welcoming and accommodating. Picked us up from the airport and even dropped us off at the mall close by as it was raining and came back to fetch us when we were ready. He drove us to the train station to catch the Tranzalpine train and collected us again the next day. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed . Rooms were great. Very clean and tidy with everything we needed. Great location and close to the train station. We all enjoyed our stay and highly recommend staying here if you are doing the Tranzalpine train trip. Five stars for sure!!

I stayed here with my family on November 24, 2017. We live in Korea and traveled to New Zealand, and this was our first accommodation. My wife, my 17-month-old daughter and I traveled together at that time. We made a reservation because it was close to the train station, and it was a great experience. When we were planning to take a train departing the next morning, the middle-aged woman at the counter gave us a ride to the train station in the morning. Thanks to her, we were able to use the accommodation and train comfortably. I am currently organizing the photos from that time, and the memory came back to me. Thank you for giving us such a pleasant memory during our trip to New Zealand. If my family and I visit Christchurch again, we will stay here.

We chose this accomodation due to reasonable proximity to CBD, walking distance from railway station for TranzAlpine trip -and the very good reviews on Google. It was excellent and exceeded our expectations. We had a rear ground floor accommodation- it was very quiet with double glazed windows and we heard no traffic or other noise. Room facilities were very good. The owners are great, stored our luggage after checkout while we visited CBD and provided transport to airport. Recommend.
