Tower23 Hotel

We really enjoyed our stay! Rooms were clean and we had partial ocean view; we left the patio door open at night and could hear the ocean waves! There was a jacuzzi tub in the room with comfy robes. We got two complimentary cocktails upon arrival! Hotel offers free bike rental and beach essentials like towels, boogie boards and beach chairs! We dined at the JRDN restaurant and both times the service were great and food was delicious! Not to mention it’s always PACKED which was a good sign for a restaurant :) there were plenty of restaurants/bars/ice cream within walking distance - our favorite spot was the baked bear right next door. I think I gained 5 lbs this trip! There are some good places for shopping for young adults as well, the urban outfitter and brandy Melville was right next door literally. We loved every part of this hotel and look forward to come back next time!

The hotel is much quieter than you would think given its close proximity to the beach. Beds are comfortable. Rooms are spotless and clean. Air is super cold and that can be a plus on a surprisingly hot San Diego afternoon. The location can’t be beat if you are staying in pacific beach.

I’ve had the best birthday of my life at 43. Take a staycation people of San Diego. Treat yourself and the folks who are working around you. The amenities are top notch.
