Small rooms, but nice and clean. It's not close to town, but sits right on the sea with a pool and small beach with chairs if you wanted to go in the sea.
Lovely hotel that serves well as a base for driving around the Amalfi Coast. Wonderful views of the Vesuvius across the bay and relatively quiet (though they do organize events/conferences/weddings that increase the amounts of noise). Rooms are spacious, well-equipped, bathrooms have bathtubs that heat up the water, and room service is available for only €6. Though we didn’t try any restaurants on site, we had a great time at the cocktail bar Terazza 66, even though drinks were definitely overpriced. Breakfast was basic with a wide array of sweet options but not too many savoury. And yes, a car is absolutely necessary to get here and make it a meaningful trip. Parking is €6 per night. One thing to emphasize is their customer service. I experienced a medical emergency that required immediate attention by a doctor. The lady at the reception desk over night had little sense of urgency, asking me if this could wait until the following morning. She didn’t try enough to get hold of a taxi to take me to the hospital and was slow to call an ambulance. That said, the morning staff and the manager were absolutely fantastic, allowing us to extend the check out by a few hours as I was recovering in bed. Overall, I’m very grateful for their support! I’d totally recommend this hotel for anyone who’s searching for a solid base while driving around the Amalfi coast.
Subject: Complaint Regarding Poor Service and Unfair Charges We booked a hotel via Booking.com(13767469582006482883, and 522707331) but unfortunately, due to complications at the Montenegro-Albania border, we missed our ferry and were forced to change our route and arrive later than planned. We immediately informed the hotel about the situation two days before check-in and asked to cancel the reservation so we could rebook for different dates. However, our request was denied and the full amount was charged. We then decided to arrive a week later and hoped to negotiate a discount given the circumstances and the fact that we had already paid for two nights we couldn’t use. Instead of a discount, we were offered a new rate that was even higher than the one shown on Booking.com at that moment. This experience showed a complete lack of customer care and understanding. We felt exploited rather than supported during a stressful situation. Charging for unused nights, refusing to reschedule, and then demanding an even higher rate is unacceptable. This is not how hospitality should be handled — it felt more like extortion than service. We hope appropriate action will be taken and that future guests will be treated with more empathy.
