Very beautiful view. Comfortable, beautiful room. Friendly staff. Breakfasts and dinners were good in the hall with huge panoramic windows with a beautiful view. Internet gives you a break from it every evening from 9 pm until the morning. Poor soundproofing in the room, You can hear everything that happens on the floor and above. I like this hotel, I think it's best that have on Toya, price - quality. Free transfer to Sapporo.
I stayed here for 2 nights. The restaurant and food was good, but the western style room was not so great. It seems like they only focus on renovating the Japanese style rooms. The western style room was a bit old and not very updated. The bathroom was very old. The room was not worth the price. The pool area was great. The staff in some cases didn't seem much helpful, but they were friendly. All in all not too bad, but definitely not worth the price.
The hotel has some truly great points. The lobby offers a stunning panoramic view of the lake — it’s absolutely the highlight upon arrival. The breakfast had a decent variety and was quite reasonable for the price. Staff were also friendly and helpful throughout the stay. However, the major downside — and unfortunately the most important one — was the room condition. It felt very outdated and poorly maintained. There was a strong musty smell, peeling wallpaper, and worn-out furniture. The bathroom was old and did not feel clean. Even the towels provided were old and had an unpleasant odor. This fell short of the standard I’ve come to expect from Japanese hotels. If the rooms were renovated, this could be a fantastic place to stay. But as it stands, I would hesitate to return unless the accommodations are improved.
