Unbelievable treatment. I had a weekend booked at this establishment to take my 10 year old daughter to the theatre for her birthday. Then the lockdown happened and our theatre tickets were cancelled. This would have been an issue anyway as I am also now unemployed. I explained this to the owners in detail and would have been happy to provide evidence of my Now being on benefits. My request for a refund was met with a short no. No exceptions. They are not obliged to help so won’t. I am merely making this known as I will everywhere I can as I am disgusted with this attitude and found many forums where other establishment owners were as appalled as I am. Thank goodness there are decent people in the world. If this makes a few people look elsewhere for accommodation I would call that what goes around coming around! Hate ranting! Hate uncaring people more.
The worst experience ever. I arrived at the accommodation and the stairs are so narrow and steep I could not walk up them to what was my room. Some people were checking out an they said the worst things about this terrible place. They gave me a contact number and the guy on the phone was so ridiculous and I told him to cancel my booking as it was misrepresentation. He did and I never got a refund. Don't even think about this place, it is a total scam. The universe is looking on these people and they will be paid back!!!!!! I don't understand why the police do not investigate this place, has Britain come to this???
I can't actually review the experience of staying here as I have cancelled my booking, due to being charged twice and not being able to contact the accommodation. I have emailed and left a voicemail, but they do not have the courtesy to reply and they still owe me over £200! The first time I rang, the voicemail box was full, not a good sign. AVOID!!!
