The hotel gives the 5⭐️experience to visitors. The lodging is premium, rooms are spacious, tastefully furnished, and impeccably clean. The beds are plush and comfortable and well-appointed workspace make it ideal for business travelers like myself. The executive floors also offer extra perks that are well worth the upgrade if you’re staying for business. The poolside area is another standout feature. It offers a tranquil, resort-style ambiance right in the middle of the city. Whether you’re lounging with a drink from the pool bar, enjoying light music in the evenings, or simply soaking in the sun, it’s a perfect spot to unwind. The overall atmosphere strikes a balance between elegance and relaxation. That said, this level of quality comes at a premium. Transcorp Hilton is definitely on the higher end of the pricing spectrum in Abuja. While not ideal for budget travelers, the value delivered — in terms of security, service, and amenities — justifies the cost, especially for business professionals or international guests looking for a reliable and upscale experience. BTW, parking is paid here. Costs 1000/hour after the first hour of parking.

I am shocked by the horrible treatment I received from the staff at Transcorp Hilton Abuja. I was a guest at this hotel and had an experience that no guest should ever go through—especially not at a hotel under the Hilton brand. On the day of my checkout, I informed multiple staff members, including the concierge and someone from the breakfast room, that I was extremely worried because I couldn’t reach my friend, who needed to collect his belongings from my room. I was told I needed to be at the airport by 11:00 a.m., and I clearly explained that another friend was still in the room and that luggage remained inside (a suit and two bags). I had no choice but to leave for the airport, trusting that the hotel would act responsibly. Instead, it turned into a nightmare. When my friend (delayed by an accident in Abuja) arrived shortly after, the reception falsely claimed that the room was fully checked out and refused to call the room, even though another guest was still inside waiting to bring the luggage down. The staff were dismissive, unhelpful, and rude. This unacceptable refusal to communicate caused my friend to miss the chance to pick up his luggage—and now the bags must be sent to Lagos at my cost. To make things worse: • Nobody picked up the hotel’s official phone line for over 20 minutes despite repeated calls. • Staff refused to provide a simple email address so I could authorize the pickup of the luggage. • A staff member abruptly ended a call with me without warning—unprofessional and disrespectful. • I was later told I would need to pay for another night, despite having left the room and having never authorized a checkout, as someone was still staying inside. This experience was beyond frustrating—it was disrespectful, negligent, and completely unworthy of a Hilton-branded hotel. I am requesting a formal apology and full compensation for the additional costs this has caused me. Avoid this hotel unless you’re prepared to be treated without any regard for communication, responsibility, or basic decency.
