Stayed there for 1 night and loved the view from the room. Peaceful and exactly the kind we wanted. Breakfast buffet (extra chargeable for us) was amazing. The food was great. The team was friendly.
We stopped in at Traveller's Rest Inn during our Lake District adventure just for a beer — and we’re so glad we did! Cozy atmosphere, super welcoming staff, and best of all, it’s pet-friendly — perfect for us. The beer was spot on, the vibe was relaxed, and it’s one of those places where you instantly feel at home. We called in to the Traveller's Rest for an evening meal at this dog friendly inn. The staff were very friendly and made a fuss of our dog, bringing her treats, which she enjoyed. We ordered the brisket and kidney pudding and the venison burger. Both of which were delicious. Well worth a visit.
