5 of us went for lunch today based on recommendations from friends who live in the area. The choice of food on the menu is excellent. Service was quick and friendly. The food was delicious and well priced. The Sunday roasts are excellent and a large plate full. Cheese and onion pie was delicious, my favourite meal when back home in Lancashire, just as good as what my mum made 😋 Will definitely return when in the local area. Highly recommended.
Just back home from a 2 night stay and it was fantastic. The rooms are modern, well thought out and clean. We ate in the pub on both nights, the food was very tasty and great value and the breakfasts were huge. The crowning glory however was the staff, attentive, friendly and helpful especially the Landlord. The bar was lively on both evenings as the sun was shining, everyone we met was very friendly. We will be back.
A wonderful place made even better by its community ownership. A great room, local beer and high quality breakfast. Need another business trip as an excuse to return from 200 miles away!
