Treacys Hotel Monaghan

This is a lovely place to stay, a beautiful, comfortable hotel, the staff are so nice and helpful, Sarah on reception was a pleasure to deal with, the staff in the restaurant were very nice, pleasant and very efficient. The food was delicious, very tasty and the portions were generous. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable and spotlessly clean, a great shower and comfy bed, extra pillows provided. I wouldn't hesitate to stay in this hotel again.

We stayed her for a two night break.We found the hotel to be very clean. The bed room was spacious and again spotless.We did have to change the bedding as it was feathers ,but the house keeping staff very pleasant and helpful with this request.The reception is bright and well laid out. Staff for mention were Ann in the bar.Donna and Kelly on reception and a special mention for Grace also on reception, these staff members are a credit to the hotel, in there appearance ,manner and ability to get tge job done effectively and with a smile.Over all a very enjoyable stay and will definitely be back.Only down side was the room had no air con.I would have No hesitation recommending this hotel.

Pleasant setting, but a bit far from the town. Because of the heatwave, we had to open the windows and not only was there noise from the traffic but we could hear the entertainment each night whether we wanted to or not. The food was excellent, well prepared and served but lacking variety of vegetables. There was only one small lift which made the stairs quite a challenge for a coach load of seniors. I would not choose to stay there again
