Unique hotel experience. Staff was great. Food was a creative culinary experience using locally sourced food. Definitely get dinner reservations. Worth getting there early in time for lunch also.

The location is truly special — nestled in the forest, with nature right outside your door. The rooms are completely out of the ordinary, each with its own concept and high-end finishes that show real craftsmanship. It’s not your typical luxury hotel — I’d describe it more as upscale glamping meets Scandinavian design. That mix is what makes it memorable. The new Spa, right by the forest edge, is a perfect addition and brings even more serenity to the stay. The food served at the guest house is also excellent — creative, local, and made with care. Definitely a place for those looking to disconnect, experience something unique, and appreciate the beauty of the north with a touch of luxury. As a travel designer specializing in Nordic experiences, I love sharing places that break the mold — and Treehotel certainly does.

The tree cabins are charming, but the overall experience lacks clarity. It’s not immersive enough to feel like nature, nor luxurious or cozy enough to justify the high price. Every small comfort comes at an extra cost. Nice to see, but I wouldn’t return or recommend it.
