I had an amazing time here staying for 4 nights. The location is beyond superb, right in the heart of the tourist district of Rome. Absolutely amazing if you enjoy the night life, the buzz of the city, and also amazing if you wish to wake up early to see the sights with no crowds! The room was good and modern, though the bathroom could use some maintenance and a deep clean IMO. Notable signs of wear and tear in the shower. But otherwise I have no major complaints about the room. For what I paid, I'm extremely satisfied with the location and room quality. That being said, this isn't a true luxury hotel. Don't expect a 5 star experience or anything like that. This is a standard hotel in a great location. Also, the staff here were extremely helpful to me. I forgot my ID documents in the room safe when visiting a major attraction, and the hotel was extremely helpful to me in getting me a copy that I could show on my phone to enter the attraction. Absolutely above and beyond service that saved a chunk of my trip! I'd definitely come back
The Trevi Palace Luxury Inn was the perfect way to enjoy the great city of Rome. We where looking for somewhere we could sleep comfortably and close to the tourist attractions we wanted to see. We also wanted to make sure we were close to quality places to taste the best of Rome. Trevi Palace Luxury Inn was perfect for my wife and plus our 3 kids. We had the Junior Suite which meant we had 3 double beds(one was a convertible couch). This was perfect and we all slept comfortably especially with the air conditioning. The staff where very friendly with no surprises. We did not use the onsite breakfast, with so many local places to enjoy such as Forno Roma. It is all about the location. Walking past the restaurants on the street leading into the magnificent Trevi Fountain is a memory we will never forget. All the places to eat we found to be amazing though i did stay away from some that had very poor google reviews. You are able to walk to many of the great tourist attractions or get an uber to places like the Vatican. Booking this place will set you up for a great holiday.
When first arriving on a 90 degree summer day with all of our luggage, we easily passed by the hotel three times with no indication of where it was located. The only sign is a small reflective one placed right next to the door and easily blocked when the street is full of foot traffic. Once we entered our room we were quickly disappointed and then shocked at the lack of cleanliness. Scuff marks on the walls and wood chipping from the armoire are one thing, but mold on the ceilings and in the shower, a broken light in the bathroom, dangerous broken window in the bathroom, rusted towel rack, less than stellar toilet and smelly fridge are another. We had another room assigned to other members of our party (The Loft) and while it was better than our room (Tintoretto 1) it also left more to be desired with the mold and the scent of garbage/sewage wafting in from outside. Due to our broken window, it was very easy to hear people outdoors at all hours of the night and our air conditioner sounded, at times, like an airplane ready to take off, also interfering with our sleep. The complimentary breakfast had not one notable item; all were undercooked or extremely dry and we threw out most if not everything we took. When it came time to check out, the front desk staff refused to call the transfer company they work with despite our transfer being 20 mins late and never showing up. We ended up Ubering and spending an additional $100 to leave. The only positives to staying at this hotel are that it is very centrally located with the Trevi Fountain steps away and the fact that there are books left in every room for your enjoyment. If I were you I would steer clear of this “luxury” inn because I assure you, nothing about it was luxury.
