Tri Giao Hotel

Hotel is New. I got very nice ocean view room even without requesting. Staff was excellent. Its about 4-5 km from city center but I wanted it away from crowd. Manager was so helpful and went beyond her responsibility to find me items I was lookibg for. If you want local restaurant, its 10 seconds away from hotel, right on road so I can watch ocean waves and experience local vietnamese food. Rooftop bar was not opened since its low season. Room service was excellent 24 hours. I would recommend it to everyone including backpackers.

Totally forgot to take pictures of the hotel, except the view from my room because unlike some of the hotels nearby, Tri Giao has no obstruction in front for now, unless the restaurants in front are torn down to make way for taller buildings. The inside of the hotel is definitely acceptable and service is fantastic and like many others, I was upgraded at no extra charge. Just to highlight for 1st time travellers to Nha Trang like myself and if you want to save costs; taxis from Cam Rahn Airport will at least cost 550k VND plus it is not advisable to run by meter. So do negotiate before boarding the cab. There were no grab bikes nor grab cars when I arrived, maybe due to the distance, they won't be waiting at the airport like in HCM. It takes around 40-45mins to reach town. So I took the yellow airport bus at 50,000 VND to the city and then changed to a grab bike which costs around 39k VND to Trị Giao, since the hotel is not in the town area, but nearer the coast. If you want, I'm sure grab cars are also available at the town bus terminal. Nice thing is that the airport bus conductor would ask you for the exact hotel you are going to and alight u at the doorstep if it is in City Town, else you can just alight at the bus terminal. Excellent hotel, great facilities, bright clean rooms with lots of natural light, friendly staff. Beach is just a minute walk away. Plenty of shops and restaurants around. Great view and breakfast buffe was delicious!
