TRIBE Budapest Stadium

Once again, we -- my wife and I -- did stay at this hotel, and we have been happy, again. The rooms are fine, with a small cooler, which we use for keeping medication below room temperature. The breakfast is well-organized and provides a great selection of different foods/meals, something for everybody. Everything is clean, and the staff are responsive and helpful. It is important to notice that the location of the hotel is a little bit ourside the actual city center, close to the stadium and the central bus station.

We came late at night, and the check in process was quick and efficient. We got to our room, well equipped but extremely tiny (more like an ibis sized room), and no upgrade was given. WiFi was very slow, so we preferred to use our cellular data. Unacceptable for 2025 and a rather new hotel. Strangely and sadly, the rooftop bar was closed without any reason. We enjoyed our welcome drink at the bar, although the waiter was very short with us. Location- it’s not central, but well connected to metro directly to the city/ train station, and tram lines. We chose this hotel due to its proximity to Budapest Park (walkable). Overall it’s wasn’t a bad stay, but we will probably won’t be staying again, in part because of the rather high price per night.

We arrived via a travel agency reservation. We requested seven twin-bedded rooms, but were given seven French beds. The receptionists said they couldn't help us; we have a room available, so we wouldn't change it. They said it would cost 245 euros if you wanted to change it. This is the first time I've encountered something like this. They said your agency needs to call our hotel reservations manager to make the change. We contacted our agency. They said the list they sent was detailed and accurate, but we couldn't reach the hotel reservations manager. Seven rooms, meaning 14 people, will be sharing a bed tonight. I think you should be careful when booking at this Ibis hotel.
