The location is great and we were in love with the area! It’s in the forest and out of town, perfect for cycling. Carrefour supermarket is 11 mins walk away. We had forest view room with a small balcony, strongly recommended, we had a lovely evening sitting outside having wine and watching the stars and spotted a cute rabbit hopping around in the garden. It’s peaceful. There was live music at the bar on Saturday. The swimming and spa was good, wish there were a steam room though. The hotel also has really nice outdoor area

A really lovely modern spacious hotel, a little out of the way but in a lovely quiet forest area. Very quiet, good service and great sized rooms. A good breakfast, I would recommend going to breakfast early as it gets so busy and you end up bumping into guests and having to queue for things.

The overall layout of the hotel is really smart. We stayed for 4 nights and staff are really nice. The rooms are a bit small - I took an upgrade for a balcony overlooking the lovely courtyard, but the doors onto the balcony could barely open because the bed blocked them - this led to the next problem - air conditioning. There is an individual controller in each room as you'd expect. However, you are not allowed to control it, until the 'hotel turn it on' which they won't until May - temps hitting 20+ sub bearing down on patio doors you can barely open and NO cool air!! Our room had a small fridge and a fresh coffee machine too. The bathroom was fine with a good shower. Overall - room would've been fine for 2 nights, but frustratingly small for 4 nights and 2 people The hotel is a 30 min walk along lovely residential streets to town - fine in the morning to early evening but not so welcome later in the evening after a few glasses of provence and you've already walked up there, which will cost you €20 in a cab - you WON'T find an uber really and luckily a concierge at a big hotel gave us the details of a local chap but €20 is the usual. Parking at the hotel is €8 per day - I've recently stayed CENTRALLY in Valencia, la Rochelle, Prague, Malaga, Exeter and Stratford-upon-Avon and none of the hotels asked additional parking fees.... Also - clean the room balconies and communal areas of dust please - I could LITERALLY write the word DUST in the table for my room and the photocopier in reception The courtyard is charming, the breakfast is nice, but no choice in eggs - gloopy scrambled eggs or boiled: no poached or fried but the breakfast star is in the preparation and constant flow of fresh pastries. Coffee available from multiple machines. The pool area was lovely and not too busy and a decent sized pool too. I imagine that the courtyard must be stunning in the summer and was lovely to sit and read in the heat. Overall - value for money? No Go back? Probably not, as the hotel has a feeling of not being finished (see photos)
