Wow wow wow! Perfect accommodations in the Poblado / Provenza area. I really enjoyed my two stays at this hotel. It is modern, clean and located next to an array of restaurants, nightlife, and a 24hr pharmacy. The hotel is perfectly located just outside of the Provenza strip, so noise was not an issue for me. I was also able to walk to the Poblado train station (about 20 min away). My only recommendation would be to include more gluten-free and/or dairy free options for breakfast, but there’s other options nearby, if needed. The staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful. They gave me tips about the city and even let me practice my Spanish. I’d like to shoutout Andres for his kindness and great customer service. The security workers and night staff were also great! Both of my rooms were quite small, which is perfect for a solo traveller or 2 travellers that don’t have too much luggage. This was fine with me as it was similar to hotel designs in NYC that try to maximize the space available. My second room was much smaller than my first (almost dorm like), but this was fine with me, as it was clean, modern and had a comfortable bed, air conditioning, hot water/good pressure and all the essentials. Thank you to the Tribe team for an excellent stay, I plan to stay here for my future visits to Medellín.

I came here solo for my birthday 11/27-12/3. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel but there are quite some things that I do think they could improve on. Pros: - the location, this hotel is directly next to La provenza -the rooms are very clean, housekeeping came every Day and mopped every day -staff is AMAZING. They truly made my experience memorable. If your Spanish is not good a majority of staff do speak English here! Cons: - the rooms are very small, I came solo so i did not mind, but it may be uncomfortable for 2 people. -the rooms are also not very equipped. Amenities such as phones to the front desk &/or face rags were not available. -the water sadly did not get very hot & the lighting in the room can be kind of gloomy. - I paid extra for breakfast and was really disappointed in the options, they were quite limited and not very tasty. Upon check in you are provided with two small waters. Housekeeping does not replace them during your stay once empty and you have to buy more, i thought that was odd. Overall I enjoyed my stay, I feel if it wasn’t for the amazing staff I probably would not have. If you’re looking for something simple and cheap with a nice location I recommend here!

I had a Max room, which is huge. However it feels empty. There is not a lot of furniture in such a big room. No desk, nor anything to fill out the emptiness. I had no body wash in my room, which I didn't mind, but I wouldn't expect this to happen in a 4 star hotel. Also, the area is noisy and the hotel has close to none acoustic insulation. I think the most annoying part was the bad attitude from some of the receptionists who clearly need some lessons on customer service. The breakfast was also quite bland, and the scrambled eggs were served cold. No hot drinks besides plain coffee included in the price. A lot of potential, but they're killing the brand with small details.
