⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I was honestly very sceptical about staying here after reading some of the reviews, but I’ve been really pleasantly surprised. Tribe Milan near the airport has exceeded my expectations. The hotel has beautiful, modern amenities — big showers, comfy beds, and stylish spaces that feel fresh and welcoming. It’s exactly what you want before (or after) a long flight. The gym is well-equipped, the pool is amazing, and the bar and restaurant are definite standouts. I had an incredible dinner here, and the staff were warm, helpful, and more than accommodating. The airport transfer service was seamless and only €5 per person — a totally reasonable price, especially when a private car to central Milan can cost close to €200 each way. While the reception staff could give slightly clearer instructions about the exact pick-up location at the airport, I’m sure this will be improved over time. It’s super close to the airport without being on the airport grounds, which makes it convenient but still quiet and comfortable. We had almost 36 hours between our train ride and flight, and honestly, this was the perfect place to spend that time. Yes, the rooms are on the smaller side — like most new modern hotels — and there’s no robe, slippers, or toothbrush in the room, but the quality of everything else more than makes up for that. The body wash, shampoo, and conditioner provided are lovely, and I’d take a great shower and divine meal over slippers any day. Also, the wine list is excellent and surprisingly affordable. Would absolutely stay again!
Modern, inexpensive and amenity-filled hotel near the Milan airport. I stayed two nights during a quick business trip. The hotel itself is superb: the staff is courteous and attentive, the restaurant is excellent, I enjoyed two dips in the rooftop pool (essential on 95-degree days) and coffee or wine on the courtyard patio is very relaxing. This is a good choice if you are staying at or near the airport. To go to the city, I took the hotel's airport shuttle to the airport and caught a city bus to the central train station (€10). It was very easy going to the city and back as the buses run frequently. On the down side, there is nothing to walk to from the hotel as it is isolated in a field with a neighboring office building. And very irritating is that the hotel's shuttle costs €5 to go less than a mile to the airport. It should either be free or simply add €2 to the cost of the room.
Tribe Milano Malpensa is a trendy, design-forward hotel that clearly targets a younger, style-conscious crowd. The ambiance is cool and social, and the overall vibe made for a pleasant stay, mostly thanks to the other guests rather than the service itself. One major downside: the pool was closed during our entire stay. This was one of the main reasons I chose the hotel, and there was no clear information online about the pool’s opening times or potential closures. That was disappointing and should have been better communicated in advance. Service-wise, the young staff were friendly but still have room to grow. I requested a refill of amenities for both of our rooms (booked side by side), but only one was restocked. The other had no soap, lotion, or conditioner. Check-in also felt a bit indifferent, not exactly the warmest welcome. Lastly, the hotel’s airport shuttle is overpriced. We ended up calling a cab ourselves, which was cheaper and faster. In short, nice design, social atmosphere, but let down by poor communication and service inconsistencies. With some improvements, this place could really deliver on its potential.
