Trip Inn City Hotel Giessen

Great value for money, Center of the city with supermarkets and restaurants in 5 minutes walking distance. With lots of parking even for high more than 2.1 m in open space.

The hotel is located in the good spot of city center, but not in the noisy and crowded neighborhood. The hotel itself is very nice and cozy. Staff is friendly. Everything is clean and comfortable. The room is big and light. It has a big windows, so the room get a lot of daylight. There was a super comfortable bed, with perfect pillows and big blanket. The mattress is super good to sleep too. We really enjoyed the quality sleep at this hotel. Also it was nice to have some coffee and tea every day in the room. We definitely will stay at this hotel again, once we are in Gießen.

The hotel entrance is quite difficult to locate. If you rely on Google Maps, it will direct you to the front of the building, but there are no clear signs indicating where the entrance is. I spent 10 minutes wandering around and had to ask several locals for assistance before finally finding it. Clearer signage or better directions from the hotel would have saved a lot of hassle. To make matters worse, the hot water was not available until after 10 pm, which was highly inconvenient after a long day of travel. For a hotel, this is a basic amenity that should be accessible at all times. The lack of attention to such details really detracted from the overall experience. While the hotel might have some positives, these issues made my stay far less enjoyable than expected
