Trip Inn Hotel Esplanade

Quite good, but there were no toiletries to buy, e.g. toothbrushes, etc.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights. The double room was quite small, and I’m not a fan of the carpeted floor — it looked old and worn out. There were cobwebs in the room, and overall it didn’t feel very clean. For the price (which wasn’t extremely high, but not cheap either), I feel like we could’ve found something better — especially since the hotel presents itself as a four-star place. In my opinion, it felt more like a three-star hotel. Another big downside was the poor soundproofing — I could clearly hear people talking in the neighboring room, as well as doors opening and closing throughout the floor. Everything was very loud and disturbing. On the positive side: the staff at the reception were very kind and welcoming, daily cleaning was included in the price, the bed was comfortable, there were plenty of pillows, and the blanket was fine. The location is also excellent — right in the city center. Also worth noting: our window faced directly into another room, and the neighbors could see us, which meant very little privacy. The bathroom door didn’t have a lock, and there was no shampoo provided — only shower gel. If I had to book again, I would probably choose a different place. This hotel isn’t terrible, but it definitely doesn’t live up to a four-star rating.

Hotel is long past it's best. Room was poor with grossly stained carpet and furnishings were old and basic being belief. Breakfast was adequate but at €15 it should be better. The location was good but this is not a hotel to recommend until it gets a thorough makeover.
