Triumphal View Hotel

I had stayed at Grand View Hotel many times and each time enjoyed the experience. For equivalent of US$100/night you get quality of stay for at least $400 by US standards. Rooms are clean, quiet. Included breakfast is not one of our "Continental" types. It is a huge selection of fine foods, freshly made and for any taste. It is secure as well. For smokers there are rooms too. Ask for a room with balcony and view on the river side. Sunsets are stunning! Just do not leave your balcony door open for the night! I made this mistake once... Had swallen face next morning from moscito bites. Internet service is good and fast via provided ethernet cable, not wireless WiFi. They also have nice indoor and outdoor pools, fully equipted gym, massage parlour next door, where for $10 you can have quality massage all over your bones and muscles. There is nothing around to go out and see, though. To do that you will need a car and either to be able to speak and understand Chinese or have a Chinese companion. Taxi drivers often do not speak a single word in English and some of them drive without GPS and get lost at your expense. Hotel is great place, though.

It was a very comfortable great Hotel
