Tropik Resort Lombok

Outstanding Just had an amazing stay at the Tropik in a superb villa. Nothing is too much trouble for this outstanding, happy and well managed team. Attention to detail, excellent food, it's position is brilliant for exploring the beautiful beaches and countryside and is second to none. The addition of the new bungalows pickle ball and badminton courts only enhance what was a perfect stay. There are too many names to mention but a massive thank you to Michael and the whole team for an unbelievable stay

Staff were professional friendly polite & helpful. Very responsive to requests. They deserve to be rewarded & Valued. Food served are nice & reasonable plentiful. Can be improved on the simple current menu. Housekeeping very professional. Swimming pool in villa & lagoon can be improved for families to enjoy with high standards hygiene. Sports area need to be well maintained. Plants nursery is beautiful. More activities for family is recommended. Tropik Resort is a gem. Heard the owner is an Australian !! cheers mate !!

We had a great stay for the most part, but it was greatly colored by an awful visa mix-up caused by the resort. I used a service to renew my visa recommended by the resort and we did not receive the promised renewal. I ended up having to go to Mataram last-minute on a Friday, taking up precious time on my short vacation, because the hotel’s recommended service did not deliver. It was a dangerous ride and one that could have been easily avoided. I ended up spending 1.9million to renew the visa and get my passport back. The hotel handled all communications with this service and they should not recommend this service to future clients. This whole experience really soured my time in Lombok. Additionally, the hotel staff was burning trash and bio material nearby our villa. The smoke made our whole villa smell awful. We had to request that they stop multiple times, over the course of 3 days. Finally, these bugs kept flying into our room despite closing all the windows and doors, I think they were getting in through the cracks.
