Definitely grab a room with a river view, the sound will guarantee you a great night's sleep
The food served in Mehana Troyan, part of Troyan Plaza, was one of the best I have tried lately. We ordered many of the freshly prepared dishes from their daily menu which were all delicious! Value for money was really great compared to the restaurants you find in Sofia. There is a lovely garden and the whole place is arranged in traditional Bulgarian style. The waitress was extremely kind. Highly recommended and can’t wait to be back!
Stay away from this hotel. Some cleaning staff are thieves and just look you in the eye. They enter your room without your knowledge and steal your belongings. There is not even a warning saying "do not disturb" in the rooms. They took my headphones in return just because I smoked in the room!!
