Trulli il Castagno

I can't stress enough how central this lovely place was for visiting the Puglia region. Every place of interest on our list was within an hour or less to drive. The accomodation was perfect. The bed was comfortable, nice hotel standard bedding, heating was good ( since we came in March). Giorgio was always helpful if we needed him. He told us a bit about the area, the Vineyard and Olive Grove and told us to help ourselves to whatever was in the vegetable garden. We would like to come back at a time of year when there is more going on and when the pool is open. I would recommend this little treasure to anyone. 👍

We stayed with the Spalluto family for nine days whilst in the region for a friend’s wedding and had the most wonderful time. Gorgeous trullo, well equipped with everything we needed, amazing pool and just overwhelmingly peaceful place. The family, including Giorgio, Vincenzo, Alessandro and their mum Beatrice were all incredible and made us feel very at home. We joined a cooking class and dinner with wine and produce from the farm on one of the nights and it was a phenomenal experience. Cannot recommend Trulli il Castagno enough.
