Trullo Dell orto Ostuni

Beautiful trullo, clean and tastefully furnished, in a very quiet location. Gaetano welcomed us with courtesy and professionalism. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay

A very beautiful Trullo. The rental complex is adequate, but it lacks a cozy room where you can gather with family or friends in the evenings (especially in September and early October). The kitchen is "archaic," and the hygiene is more than limited. The exterior would be magnificent if it were maintained. Weeds are everywhere, the pool area is not maintained, the water is questionable (green), and the chairs are damaged and the cushions are not cleaned. It's a real shame that there's such neglect, because the place could really be very nice. Furthermore, the price requires exemplary maintenance of this complex, which is nevertheless very well located, next to Ostuni, a magnificent city, and central to all the must-see places, but very far from being "prestigious." The owner is nevertheless very pleasant and responsive to our requests, which shouldn't exist anyway (hygiene, cleaning not done before our arrival, lack of dishes, gas outage, questionable pool, and unmaintained exterior). Real problem with garbage collection since in 13 days, none have been collected (this seems to be the case).....

The place is very beautiful and has enormous potential, but unfortunately it's poorly managed. The property is left to its own devices, poorly maintained, completely lacking in cleanliness, and there's an unpleasant odor in the rooms. The price paid is absolutely not worth the offer. Not recommended! The only downside is the friendliness of the owner, but that doesn't make up for the poor condition of the property.
