Truntum Kuta

Myself and husband stayed here for 7 nights., 29July -6August 2025. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, everything was great from the kind reception we received when checking in, as well as the lobby assistants, the staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. We had spa treatments which was fantastic, a special thank you to Suci at the spa bookings, The breakfast was really enjoyable. Rooms were clean and spacious. Entertainment at the hotel was great, we enjoyed the Friday evening Sunset Grill . The hotel is easily accessible to the beach and shopping malls. Thank you Truntum staff for making our stay pleasant, we will surely be staying at this hotel on our next visit. We are happy to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bali.

Just had a couple of nights here. It's quite a nice hotel and in a great location in Kuta. We were in the Bali Wing, and whilst it is clean, and reasonably well maintained, it does feel a little aged. In the room, a Grand Deluxe in our case, the sleeping area was good, bathroom a bit small. Furniture in the room whilst clean is again a little aged, with some of the edges missing. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet We only used the Kelapa Pool which was a nice place to relax. There were children jumping from the bridge at the pool, even tho the signs said not to, and staff at the pool did not say anything to them. Food at breakfast and around the pool was generally nice. Overall, great location and good value for money.

We’re a young family who have travelled to Bali for years, and our recent stay at Truntum Bali was incredibly disappointing. We were not told about the renovations happening on the side we expected to stay on, and the vibe throughout the resort felt tired and unwelcoming. From the moment we arrived, there were no smiles or greetings—something that’s so unlike the warm and friendly Bali we know and love. Even our kids, who usually love connecting with the Balinese people, didn’t feel that spark here. The food was well below standard. Breakfast was sub-par, the egg station was rarely manned, and the coffee was awful. Our room had dirty towels, a bathroom full of mosquitoes, and the laundry service was overpriced with poor quality results. Poolside was unpleasant too—staff constantly tried to sell us massages and hair braiding instead of creating a relaxing atmosphere. The staff in general didn’t seem happy, which speaks volumes about how the place is run. While the location is prime, there’s clearly no care factor. It feels like the staff aren't being looked after, and that trickles down into every part of the experience. We wouldn’t return—and that’s a shame, because Bali usually feels like home. Quality of furniture around pool and restaurant is in some serious need of replacing.
