Good customer service and very clean rooms! It appears the breakfast seems to have changed though, since all of those amazing reviews - included breakfast was just a regular simple continental buffet (eggs, bacon, cereal, toast) with nothing exceptionally special. Just be warned in case you're booking with any breakfast-related expectations, like I was!
June 2025 long weekend. Run was lovely, clean, comfy bed, nice layout. Staff very friendly and professional. We had buffet breakfast included in our package, nice food. Understaffed on Sunday, better on Monday which meant refills were more timely, tables cleared and reset. Lifts quick. Restaurant opening times were unclear and advertising was inconsistent. Overall, a lovely relaxing stay with some staffing issues but no major problems. We'd stay again if want something in this area
When this hotel first opened it was really good. Thats where the higher ratings would refer to. I use to stay on a regular basis. My last stay was beginning of this year. I stayed a few nights ago and I cant believe how it's gone downhill in its standard. Overpriced for what it offers. Only two bedroom pillows which were terrible and the two cushions could do with a good clean. No hand towel. Towels not replaced with clean ones. Very disappointed. I will not be staying there again.
