I only stayed one night. The hotel staff was polite, helpful and they are 24/7. The location is perfect, especially if you stop to fly from Köln airport, it's just 3.50€ from Köln hbf. The rooms were clean and fully functional, but as others say, the furniture and carpet are dated.
Even if from the outside it looks modern, the rooms inside were very old and super dusty. The carpet in the room was super old as other objects in the room. We asked to change the room but the second one was the same. And we were told that all the rooms are in the similar condition. The stuff wasn't very friendly. This Hotel positions itself as a 4 star hotel, but I don't think it worth even 2. The only advantage of this hotel (if we can use word hotel for this establishment) was its location. It was in the city center near Central station. If you are planning to stay in Cologne, I don't recommend this place.
Had organised a trip months in advance and prepaid with plenty of warning. Clearly the hotel had better offers as they decided to cancel our stay due to ‘overbooking’. No such thing when you have purchased as far out as we had. Don’t waste your time here.
