⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1000 Stars for TRYP by Wyndham Savannah Downtown/Historic District! We had an absolutely amazing experience at this hotel! From the moment we walked in, Ebony went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. We had unfortunately booked through a scam website called SuperDeals.com, which sent us a fake confirmation and receipt. When we arrived, the hotel had no record of our reservation. Ebony was incredibly calm, professional, and kind through it all. She immediately took charge, helped me contact my bank, and reassured me every step of the way. Thanks to her, we were able to resolve the issue quickly. Now let’s talk about the hotel itself — immaculate! The room was spotless, the towels and linens were fresh, and the refrigerator was sparkling white (which is a big deal for me — I’m a clean freak!). Everything was beyond my expectations. I’m so grateful we ended up here. The entire stay was peaceful, clean, and full of southern hospitality. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Savannah. If I could give 1000 stars, I would!
A decent stay if you’re needing to stay downtown and like the old historic charm. This hotel advertised having a business center however did not have one with no access to computer or printing. Fairly clean overall on surface level, bedding seemed to have someone’s long straight hair strands randomly on pillows and sheets, and the mattress and headboard are stained with yellow substance. Gives you vibes that house keeping does not change sheets if customer didn’t sleep in bed or if sheets and bedding sill looks clean they just make bed up after one customer checks out for the next customer to check in. Was a night to just sleep on top of bedding fully clothed and cover pillow cases with your own clothing or wear head covering. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. Valet seemed to be nonchalant and not like their jobs, had to wait on valet as they were chilling and sitting in lobby or on break smoking.
The housekeepers did not clean our rooms the way they should. I had to keep complaining to the front desk to get my room cleaned. They have no swimming pool so that was a disappointment. Our refrigerator was not working. They stated we could get another room but who wants to pack up all their stuff and move to another room. So they stated they would bring another one up to replace it. Which they never did. Also, the valet guy was very nice but you have to pay $30 per day. If you park in the garage across the street you have to pay $25 each time you leave and come back , so we chose valet . More convenient and only one price per day. However, the room was spacious. It was my 1st time in Savannah. I will not stay at this hotel again.
