Tsumesyo Mikuni

Very comfortable place and well appointed. Mikuni can be a little limited to go around Fukui but there are few things in this charming town and the house is beautiful and well remodeled inside while keeping its old fixtures and charm.

A newly renovated modern residents. Nice, clean, neat, functional and practical is how to describe this property. A new approach for modern living that suitable for everyone. Highly recommend.

二組限定の宿「詰所三國」は、築百数十年の薬屋を古民家再生で知られるアレックス・カー氏がリノベーションしたもの。「かぐら建て」という三國特有の建築手法による町家の趣はそのままに、現代的な快適性を備えた宿に生まれ変わっている。 元は一つの家屋として使われていた建物だが、改築時に「流水」「行雲」という二区画に分けられた。今回泊まった「流水」は風情のある坪庭を間に配し、母屋と蔵の2つに分けられた客室。どちらにもキッチンや浴室などが備え付けられており、ぜいたくな造りになっている。 蔵の風情をそのまま生かした奥の客室は、吹き抜けのリビングが気持ちいい。湊町の時の流れを感じさせてくれる、いぶし銀の味わいを持つ梁や漆喰壁も見ていて落ち着く。居心地のよい上質な空間で、友人たちとゆったり過ごすことができるのは何より嬉しかった。
