Just returned home from an overnight stay at the Palace Hotel, Peterhead. Excellent hotel, excellent friendly staff - nothing too much bother for them. Bar and Restaurant very good although be warned food portion sizes are huge! Would stay here again (and intend to soon). We cannot recommend this place highly enough. Mr and Mrs Wheeler, Leven, Fife
Weddings at The Palace Hotel just flow so well! It’s got plenty of space, a lovely atmosphere, and a team that keeps everything running like clockwork. So organised, so helpful, and always making sure the day feels effortless. A venue that never misses a beat!
Bad staff training and treatment, low wages and morale with a constant overturn due to this. Poor customer service and regard for guests. Staff and even management make derogatory and insulting comments about visitors who spend their money here. Awful hygiene practices and awareness. There are few alternatives in the local area which is the reason I think this place continues to operate a reasonable trade. Between here and the Buchan Braes they have a monopoly in Peterhead. Go further afield and explore the places available in Aberdeen. I give it a fair 2/10
