Turi Beach Resort

Booked the older building..Riani wing andwe even extended our stay from 4 nights to 5 nights Got our own private beach. The staff are fantastic..and friendly. They have been wonderful through out the stay. Wifi and internet will be a problem in some areas if u are a content creators but nevertheless its a place to escape the city stress and put phone aside apart from taking pictures. Great for family with kids. My boys aged 3&5 were having trouble going home😂. Have some insect repellent all day as mozzies and sand fly are always in the hunt. Food was nice ..the BBQ seafood dinner was nice with the live ban. Dinning in the resort itself could be a little pricey due to the service charge and tax.. always ask the price before ordering.. but cmon it's not everyday u get to splurged on ur self. Can't say much on the other wing but i reckon it will be a little loud with the activities and music going on near the new wing . But the view from the new wing is also gorgeous sunset view. Only down side is travelling to town to get supplies is a little far. No need to worry if u are late, ferry terminal is about 7 mins ride. Apart from the down side , i would definitely still come again..for the view,water sport, the food ,the staff..and the hospitality. Weekdays are more quieter than on weekends.. Monkeys ,cats were present ..on quieter days.. nice.

This is my second time visiting. I remember the first trip to be much more nicer! I remember smiling faces of staff, good service, decent food! This time, it was the opposite. Staff all seemed unhappy. Like they were forced to be there. Food in the main restaurant(breakfast for example) really bad! The Italian restaurant was decent! The bed looked old, balcony not clean. Pool showing its age. Could feel people’s unhappiness when asking for a buggy for example or in the checkin, checkout! I don’t know what changed! But quality of service going down+ unhappy frowning staff + rooms showing its age and deteriorated food quality was really a put down

Overall, it was BAD!!!! —especially the in-house food and breakfast. The plates and bowls were dirty. I had a glass of fruit punch and ended up with a very bad stomach flu the next day and the breakfast was horrible!! I would not recommend this place to any of my family and friends especially to those that bring toddler. Too many stairs in the resort. Honestly, I would rather pay more than stay at Turi Beach Resort Batam again. Lastly, this resort does not allow any grabfood orders.
