Turim Marques Hotel

Spacious, well kept rooms. The rooms didn't have a smart TV, which is a shame. After a long hot, summer day of walking up and down steep streets, I would have been nice to unwinded with something other than a handful of local channels. The bathrooms are huge, a welcomed change from many of the other hotels I stayed out during my trip. The hotel is central, so you shouldn't have a problem getting around. My wife and I walked most places. The few times we took a taxi, it didn't cost too much. The highlight of our stay was the bar, specifically the bartender, Salvador. He is probably one of the most informative, innovative, and friendliest people I've ever met. Visit this hotel, and when you're there ask Salvador for a Basil Your Way. You won't be disappointed in that or any of his drink recommendations. Thank you Salvador for the great conversation, tips, recommendations and memories.

Location was about 30mins walking distance to town centre. I didn't book it someone in the group did. It was a lovely hotel and the rooms were lovely. Service was good. We had a problem with the ac and they moved us immediately.

A modern and peaceful hotel with efficient air conditioning. The room included a kettle, armchair, bathrobes, slippers, and a TV integrated into the mirror. A welcome gift of pastries and wine was a pleasant surprise. There is a business corner with a computer and free printing. The room had a fresh, fruity scent. On the downside, breakfast all 5 mornings was repetitive and basic, Wi-Fi was slow, and the shower cabin quite narrow. Minibar prices were extremely high. The entrance lacks a ramp, which makes handling luggage inconvenient.
