I can't praise this hotel enough. Staff was amazing from the housekeepers to the front desk. As soon as you walk into the lobby, your hit with this fantastic fragrance hotel is in great location. Was wife's birthday whilst we were in Lisbon and the hotel arranged for a bottle of wine and two cakes in the room such a lovely touch.

This is a decent hotel, not the most modern, but well located in a busy and touristy area downtown. The room was clean and good enough size, but the shower is the only thing I'd say was pretty tight space-wise. Maybe the bathroom lighting could be brighter (white bulbs) for the ladies as well 😅. Just be aware that the bathroom is not totally private with the see through glass. The room wasn't equipped with an iron and ironing board but when I called the front desk they sent someone to deliver to the room. The mini fridge was stocked but ofc you had to pay for those and they included a note in the other cabinet advising of such. The other mini cabinet included bedroom slippers and a shower cap which seemed complimentary. The kitchen staff happily reheated some food we had, one of the nights, which we appreciated since the room didn't have a microwave.

Great location for Alfama, the river front and Rua Augusta with loads of shops and restaurants nearby. Staff are lovely but the rooms themselves are small. As a single traveller I was given a single bed which was OK but it's unusual these days to go to hotels and pay the same as a couple but get less luxury. Little things like the TV was at an angle on the wall so you couldn't watch it and the tap had no indicator which was hot and which was cold (the water out of both sides was warm). A shout out for the shower though which was very hot and very powerful - great for aching muscles. Breakfast at the time of writing is 18 euros extra. Lots of people have recommended Honua around the corner which is lovely - all pink and avocado - but the hotel breakfast is better value for money if you're after more than an espresso and a croissant.
