Turismo Rurale La Miniera Fiorita

Fantastic hidden gem in the pine forest region near Arbus. The lodge and rooms have a somewhat alpine feeling with total Italian hospitality. The beds and showers are both comfortable and ample, we had a nice terrace area and the air conditioning was almost too cold which was great as the air was hot and sticky and the room initially felt a bit stuffy but quickly cooled down. We decided to try the half board and especially enjoyed the antipasto each night Both breakfast and dinner were ample festive meals. My only wish was that they offered less carb items at breakfast and perhaps some hard boiled eggs. The only things I could really eat at breakfast was prosciutto and cheese but that's just me. There were various packaged croissants, fresh bread, homemade and packaged cakes, juices, cereal hot and cold milk coffee tea hot cocoa. And fresh whole fruit. We purchased a half dozen eggs the secondary Day and the owner:chef was gracious enough to happily cook them for us to have the next morning. We loved the swimming pool and the beautiful flowers and succulents that surround the pool and parking area. Really a lovely property with warm welcoming hospitality at a reasonable price. Bravo. Added bonus was other nice guests who we enjoyed lively conversations and loud singing with! Of course the wine, grappa, mirta, and our own addition of our personal stash of amaretto certainly enhanced the experience!

Very homely and pretty. Delicious evening meals. Very honest and nice staff.
