Turks Head Inne

The hotel is in a great location by the beach and the room itself was comfortable and clean upon arrival. However, I’m giving 3 stars due to the overall service. The balcony floors and furniture were too dirty to sit outside, which was disappointing. The dining room is in desperate need of an update, and the restaurant and bar were never open during my stay. Additionally, the staff/friends had a karaoke party on Sunday night, which felt unprofessional for a hotel setting. While the stay was okay, the lack of amenities and upkeep made it less enjoyable than expected.

We were the only guests at the restaurant when we went for dinner, which perhaps should have told us something. We shared a nice conch chowder, a pepperoni "pizza" (more like a very cheesy flatbread) and a homemade key lime pie (with a delicate custard filling that was somewhat overwhelmed by the digestive biscuit crust, so we enjoyed them more separately). The food was good but it felt quite overpriced ($55), even by Grand Turk standards.

We found MOUSE POOP ON THE BATHROOM FLOOR upon arriving in a “clean room”, and after mentioning it to an employee we came back a few hours later and it was still there. The location is the only good thing about this place. Everything is extremely old and rickety and the service, it’s simply non existent! Went down for the included breakfast which goes from 8am-10am to find absolutely no one and nothing to eat. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
